Projects we take on for ourselves, outside client work: a line of guitar pedals, a flat-pack plywood gym and a full campervan conversion. They are where we try new materials and methods before using them for clients.

Signature Pedals

2017

Our own line of guitar effects pedals built around BYOC kits. The enclosure is CNC-machined from solid 40 mm oak and finished with OSMO mahogany oil. Each pedal is designed in CAD, machined from CAM toolpaths, and the top plate is UV printed and laser engraved before assembly.

DIY Plywood Gym

2021

A complete home gym cut from standard plywood sheets on a CNC router and assembled like flat-pack furniture. “Dog bone” joints reinforced with stainless steel plates lock solid as the bolts are tightened, and the adjustable bench changes height in seconds.

Campervan Conversion

A complete interior conversion of a cargo van, starting from the bare metal shell: floor frame and wall panels, a kitchen with sink, hob and fridge, swivel seats, a bed and a control panel for the onboard electrics.
